Snapshots from New York
As we approach the shortest day of the year in mid-December, we gather friends near and far celebrating the incredible journey we've embarked on in 2024. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported Enerin and other energy innovators who are dedicated to clean and smart energy solutions globally.
Your unwavering belief, tireless energy, and commitment to climate change initiatives have made this possible. Special mention to the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in New York, The Clean Fight Team and consulting engineers Jaros, Baum & Bolles.
Today we are delighted to share some exciting snap-shops and key takeaways from the recent New York tour that Enerin COO Trond-Atle Asphjell attended in November. He had an incredible experience on the New York Nordic Proptech tour, which this year shone a spotlight on AI-driven systems for real estate. The focus was on innovative energy management systems aimed at reaching net-zero climate goals and good investment-driven returns for clean tech.
A big thank you to those who organised the brilliant networking event at the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in New York with a special mention to the Consul General, Heidi Olufsen, for hosting, and PropTech Norway CEO, Daniel Butenschøn, for organising.

Trond-Atle can be seen here presenting Enerin’s HoegTemp technology at the Climate Tech Mini-Summit where he was joined by energy and AI trailblazers Findable, Energi ai, CLIMAID, Autility and Birdsview.
The PropTech delegation coincided with the Enerin commitment as a finalist for the Empire Technology Prize to scale its HoegTemp high-temperature heat pump by providing better fossil fuel boiler replacements for buildings to meet the decarbonisation goals of New York.
Trond-Atle presented a technical overview of the Empire Technology Prize finalist solutions at the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing/Architect Engineering and Construction (MEP/AEC) session during the week that was hosted by the American MEP consulting engineers, Jaros, Baum & Bolles in the city.

Gratitude and appreciation goes to The Clean Fight team who have provided ongoing support, guidance and encouragement for Enerin as a finalist in the Empire Technology Prize.
Let's keep the momentum going as we head into 2025 together. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here's to many more milestones ahead.
A key takeaway from the Proptech Norway Tour.
“💡Don’t mention The Green Shift! ‘Sustainability’ and ‘ESG’ are not politically viable currencies. However, technology that cuts carbon footprint by cutting construction costs and facility management, are. Nordic businesses: rewrite your pitch deck!”
🍏 Although Enerin always endorses green — like our logo and our unwavering support of green solutions and energy, these financial incentives are sure to sway real estate developers and financiers.
👷🏻Our engineers stand out as being exceptional in inventing, building and perfecting heat pump technologies with a proven track-record in industrial energy efficiency projects.
💰 Norwegian energy consultants validated Enerin to have the overall best value payback in its class. Demonstrated operational robustness at IVAR biogas plant.
💲 Our heat pumps are easy to install. The HoegTemp is retrofittable without major changes to the existing steam supply system. No costly engineering.
⛑️ Safety above all. Helium is an inert natural, safe refrigerant, which means that it is non-flammable/non-explosive/non-toxic. No lengthy and costly approval process. Using helium — the most stable and un-reactive refrigerant — means that our heat pumps win in delivering greater energy efficiency because they do not rely on the condensing and boiling of refrigerants.
❗ Essentially, our HoegTemp heat pumps do not lose heating capacity when temperatures dip below freezing — no downtime when defrosting fancoils.
🏙 This makes our heat pumps ideal for heating tall buildings with high-temperature infrastructure requirements, with winter temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius, or -4 degrees Fahrenheit.
⚡ The HoegTemp® is as flexible and as easy to control as a fossil boiler — it wins in efficiency for temperature lifts over 176-212 °F (80-100 °C), achieving a 50 to 60% energy saving.
💡 Output and power consumption of our heat pumps can be controlled by a factor of two in less than one second, making it ideal for grid balancing, and for utilising intermittent renewable energy.
